The goal of this project was to gain experience with the design and fabrication of a PCB by developing a small, battery-powered position logging device. The device has a MicroSD card slot for storing data gathered from the GPS and accelerometer/gyroscope package. Additionally, it has a USB interface for communicating with a host system and is not only capable of operating off battery power, but can also charge the battery when given external power.
